Politigården is twenty minutes by bike. You wrap the USB in a ziplock bag, pull on your jacket, and tell yourself this is the rational choice. You are a civilian. You have been a civilian for four years.

Detective Søren Ravn meets you in a grey interview room with a paper cup of coffee and the careful neutrality of someone who has heard many strange stories. He is mid-fifties, unhurried, and his eyes do not match his relaxed posture.

You place the USB on the table and tell him what you found. You do not mention Langley. You do not mention the memo.

Ravn turns the drive over in his fingers without touching the connector. "Have you had any disputes with neighbours? An ex-partner perhaps?"

"Someone was in my apartment."

"The lock shows no sign of forced entry. The building camera recorded nothing unusual." He pauses. "You used to work in intelligence, ja? American?"

You nod.

"Sometimes that work follows people home," he says, in a tone that is not quite dismissive. "I will log this and we will be in touch."

He does not move to leave. He is watching you the way you used to watch people.
