Ravn writes it down, underlines it, and looks at his watch. "I can have a surveillance team on the Hellerup address within two hours. But I want you to understand something." He closes the folder. "If this document exists and it says what you believe it says, the moment it enters official Danish police procedure, it becomes a political matter. It will be managed. People will be protected."
"Is that what happened to Dahl?"
A pause. "Holger Dahl's death has been reclassified as suspicious. I reclassified it myself, this morning, before you came in." He meets your eyes. "I am not compromised. But I am one detective. And Erik Lindqvist has had forty years to build relationships in this city."
He stands and puts on his jacket.
"Come with me. Not as a witness — as a consultant. Unofficial. You know this material better than anyone in this building." He pauses at the door. "And if it goes wrong, you were never here."
