You give Ida a simple instruction: go back to whoever hired her and say that you confronted her, that you have the USB drive, and that you want a meeting. A neutral location. Tonight.

She does not want to. You tell her that the man who hired her has already killed one person — Holger Dahl — and that her cooperation is the only thing keeping her from being the next loose end.

She makes the call from the café bathroom. When she comes back her face is pale.

"They agreed," she says. "Fisketorvet. The car park, level three. Nine o'clock." She pauses. "They said to tell you to come alone. And to bring the drive."

You have four hours.

You spend them preparing. You copy the drive to a secure server. You take photographs of every file. You write out what you know and encrypt it with a key that will send automatically to three journalists if you do not cancel it by midnight.

At 20:45 you head for Fisketorvet.

At 20:50, Ida calls you. She is crying. "They came to my apartment. They know I told you. I —"

The line goes dead.
