Locker 114. The key card is matte black with no markings. The floor plan is printed on thin paper, folded four times — a basement layout, one room marked with a red X. The burner phone has one contact: PROTOKOL.

You memorise the floor plan and burn it in the station bathroom.

Lindqvist Defence Consulting is a converted townhouse on Strandvejen, three floors above ground, one below. The key card is for the service entrance on the rear lane. According to the floor plan, the sub-basement is accessed via a staircase behind the boiler room, sealed with a biometric lock that Marcus — or someone — has already bypassed with a firmware patch loaded onto the key card.

You arrive at 22:40. The lane is empty. A motion sensor above the service door blinks green as you approach — the patch is working.

Inside, it smells of old concrete and machine oil. The boiler room is warm and loud. Behind it, exactly where the plan shows, a steel door stands slightly ajar.

Someone has been here before you tonight.
